Before every round, changes are traditionally announced.
In Dominion Classic, the changes would be for balance and often based largely on community input.
Since OpenDominion is still in beta, changes are more often than not the implementation of game mechanics and features (such as races) rather than changes that deviate from the final state of Dominion Classic.
