Round 47 Cait Sith

It's roundfail time again, unsurprisingly. One that's even worse than the last, in more than one way.

After getting shafted with realm assignment for like three rounds in a row, I tried to sign up after placement was done this time. I landed with a pack of relatively new players: Extravadadza, KingCT, Omni, Dishess, Only in Dreams, and a smaller pack of more experienced players: Kale, Rush's 2008th clone, and Faith. The other randomers were Sommarhydda, The Thing, Jocke, and Weaser. It looked like a decent realm on the first glance. We decided on cartoon cats for realm theme.

Sticking to all round attacking really limited my options and the new sim not exactly helping either. With going fast seemingly out of question due to timezone coverage, I was considering either orc or troll. In the end I picked the former since oop time this round was better to make multiple hits.

Day 1, Hour 1

The plan was to aim for two 85% hits, and one 80%. I ended up with 85/83/79 due to taking my time looking for the 2nd and 3rd targets to make sure I had enough op for both. Not too bad I guess, but maybe it'd be better to just get the first two hits asap next time.

Found a fat target for my 2nd wave, but I was a little too slow and only got to him 2nd (first hit was 9 seconds earlier). Still a solid gain! I actually forgot to cast my racial, but the target was so light that I probably still sent about 1k op over lol.

Had to wait for a bit for my next hit due to top twats just keep pushing op, but at least I got a player hit instead of a bot. I made the hit within 10 minutes after waking up from my nap. Thankfully Jocke was around to help with the spy ops as the target had quite a lot of spies even though he's inactive.

Day 10, Hour 4

With #9 undead being sunk by #3, I was aiming to hit #2 lyc a few ticks after he entered my range. However, due to the numbers being a little too close I decided to hit a lyc bot instead. Probably the better call, but still felt a liittlee egh.

Update: After reassessing things when I woke up, apparently I coulda hit the #2 lyc safely. My 3 am brain somehow thought that the undead's boats would recover faster as I got the numbers mixed up (it should take 10 ticks instead of 8 - where he had a bit of incoming op). It's a self collusion!

Day 11, Hour 10

Meanwhile, the top doms at this stage fucked each other, starting by #9 undead hitting #3 demon all in (a war hit on top of that). The demon retaliated on the undead, and got tapped by #7 goblin, who then fed #3 spirit, who's then nabbed by one of the #5 lycs. It looked like the the curtains of the fast attackers were going to close soon.

Despite #3 demon and #9 undead traded blows a while back, their op quickly raising again due to mostly being focused on specs. I probably could have yolo'd and hit way earlier, but decided to be patient and waited until I covered the undead (the bigger threat of the two).

The spirit in 3 somehow left himself open and got all in'd by #5 lyc as a result. He retaliated, only to eat more hits from #9 undead and #5 kobold, with the later being whacked by #3 demon and halfling. Top doms fucking each other seems to be the trend this round.

They declare back to mutual on us, presumable to take back their wonder once we did. We responded by burning their goblin and took the wonder early to try keeping it for as long as we could.

Then we noticed that the bigger lyc (fast inefficiency) had 4 ticks left of ares and decided to snare him for KingCT to hit when mutual bonus kicked in. While we was able to snare him, the lyc released his scavengers and most of his garous to defend himself with drafts, while we're tapped out of spy strength to stab him. Wasn't the worst of outcome, I guess, since we took out an attacker either way.

Day 22, Hour 17

Had to pass a bot that dropped ares as I had to wait for the mutual war bonus to expire to be able to hit safely vs #5 goblin. At least I was able to hit a bigger target in the end.

As a side note, I lost 27,890 peasants due to the twats in #5 burning me during the war. Not sure if it's worth holding onto the FoY for a couple of days but whatever. #1 vamp took over as top op at this stage and it looked like the round was doomed due to his huge peasants and undying op.

I've been suggesting that immortal op units were problematic and need to go, but obviously a noob's opinion worth nothing. We were actually close to get rid of it with the change on spirit and rework on undead, however, JC (probably some others as well but it's mostly him as far as I knew) rebranded the old undead as vampire to keep it in the game for the sake of nostalgia.

If that vampire become unstoppable, it's your fault JC!

The nomad in #2 pumped huge op to hit a guy in #1, so I had to wait until his land almost arrived to make my hit since his leftover op was still too much for me. I coulda hit in the next tick, but there's only 3 bots left in my range and I didn't want to get sniped. It turned out someone else in #9 had the same thought as me, although fortunately he aimed for a different bot lol.

Finally got a hit after almost a week... Op spiked like crazy like usual during this time and I was struggling to keep up on dp. It was an ares drop hit, although I was planning to hit early on the tick, but fell asleep for a moment while waiting for the hour to change lol. Fortunately the guy hadn't recast his spell yet.

Realm 2 warred realm 5, possibly looking for a war hit or something. Faith still wanted FoY, and since most people weren't against it, we decided to try getting it while 5 is occupied by 2. However, other realms suddenly piling up on the war for fun lol.

Our 2nd attempt to get the FoY was less smoother than what we planned. Faith wanted it to be taken down in one wave, at hour 7. Thing was in the meeting although he said earlier in the tick that he could hit. So we did our cyclones and had the smaller attackers sent first before sending the big guns. Then there were no words from Thing until five minutes near hour change and we're prepared to take down the wonder without him. However, he did show up a minute later, saying that he told his manager that he had to make a call after his alarm went off twice. What a champ lol.

Day 41, Hour 1

Realm 2 warred us, but it didn't look like they blopped anyone right away. Not sure what's the intention here.

Update: Looks like they lb'd Weaser and in return we burned their nomad and sunk their human.

Over a week has passed since my last hit and I've been grieved heavily by both Bohemian and Bitchney during the war. With top op finally moving after Omni yolo'd and got tapped, I decided to take a risk vs #8 orc, hoping Weaser would cover me.

Might not be the best move, but fuck this round at this point.

Thanks to Sabby for cracking the ratio monster! The guy I hit had 4 wpa and spa... I was a little concerned that I'd get revenge blopped, but fortunately that didn't happen.

Four ticks until my troops returned, Weaser found an ares drop war hit and went for it. On one hand, I'm quite happy that the guy who had been harassing me got smacked, but I also needed Weaser to cover me so it's a mixed feeling... I was left relying on #2 nomad to keep the orc home, somewhat ironically.

Faith hit #2 nomad with the lingering war bonus, for what potentially could be the hit of the round. Their human retaliated, but the funny part was he sent a lot of knights despite not needing any, so he probably got bad barrack spies (or not even taking multiple). He ended up getting rekt while Faith managed to get home with just taking one hit. #fuckrealm2

Both #4 goblin and #5 orc also got hit later, by #1 vamp and #7 sylvan respectively.

Day 47, Hour 11

Nothing happened on last day as expected. Disable timer being pushed back surely was a great change... not.

Aaannd that's another shitty round over and done with. It was quite exciting early days too until the vamp took over. Nothing really worked out for me despite finally having a decent realm, because, you know it, collusion.

Anyways...

Some people had been swarming and quaking me for almost the whole round. I initially just shrugged it off because that's what pesky bloppers do so they could get their rocks off to their stats and rankings. At some point, however, it became apparent to me that I was being grieved. My dom was already dead and I had realmies in better positions, and yet they didn't catch a single one of these blops. Meanwhile, a certain realm had been dedicating 2-3 of their guys to refresh the swarm/quake whenever it's off like clockwork. I had my suspicion of who these cunts were, and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up to be correct.

A little bit of context: last round I learned that there were people who, as quoted, "aggressively dislike" me. I had no idea what I've done or said to piss people off to that level, but then again these are the times where people got offended over literally fucking anything so I wasn't too surprised about it.

Anyways, these twats may or may not read this roundfail, but as I've said many times, if you can't take the heat, then don't play with fire. I'm having a rough year irl, with one thing coming after another and I'm not really in the best of moods these days. So I'll vent here and I don't give a fuck if people got offended as they're the ones who started this shit first. I'm just doing what I like to do in a fucking game by training or building in rounded numbers, and now I might need to move on from this habit as certain people would grief me for whatever reason it might be, possibly some shits that happened roundS ago. It's annoying, but such is life.

Lightning Bolt Damage: 7,860,266 (shared between Bohemian and Britney)

Earthquake Hours: 0 279 (mostly Bohemian)

Insect Swarm Hours: 0 322 (mostly Bohemian)

I don't particularly care about the sinking/plague/flood so they're not included.

The realms that I caught doing the blops early were #1, #2, #7, and #8. However, the one that moved on to the grieving phase was #2, particularly Bohemian (and also Britney who harassed me during the war by sinking and lb-ing), and so this rant is mostly directed at those fuckers.

Update: It's confirmed that the main culprit is none other than B (short for Bitch, I guess), and the only reason I can think of why he's doing it is because I sui'd his packmate 5 rounds ago or something. That's right, not even something that's done on him, and he called me lame and salty before. Talk about being a fucking hypocrite. Oh, and the twat also complained when bloppers were blopping for ranks too, while he's doing something even lower than them. The bitch didn't even blop for rankings, but only to grief. Who's the lame and salty one now?
